Where to Begin Some General Guidance?

The 1st thing you need to do is to understand your options. There are many was to make money online below are a few of the more popular ones!

  • Start a Blog
  • Build a Membership Site
  • Build a Niche Site
  • Freelancing
  • Selling Stuff on EBay
  • Paid Surveys
 Explore these options!  Find out what it takes to be successful at one of these and go for it.  What is most important is that you review these options and what the requirements are for success for each of those options. Once you understand the options pick one that fits your personality. Don’t try and pick something you don’t like or doesn’t fit you.  You are more likely to succeed if you pick something that makes sense to you.  I am not going to go in to detail now about all these options but I will begin to cover them in more detail on future posts. 

Once you decide then start following others that are successful at this and learn from them. Start thinking about how you’re going to developing your idea and what are the steps you need to take to make that 1st dollar. Again I can’t state enough find someone else or a couple people that seem to know what that are doing follow them subscribe to there RSS feed, opt-in to there mailing list. Figure out what the do on a daily basis. Don’t try to re-invent the wheel. Become and expert in that model.

Leverage your own personal strengths! Reach out to others when you need help. Don’t spend any money right away. Find the free resources that are good. Beware of crap and scams. There are paid programs that are good worth the money but there is a lot of programs that are crap beware of the crap. Don’t expect to make $1,000 next week. People that know what there doing can run a campaign to there subscribers and do this but if your just starting you have no subscribers you have no traffic so don’t expect these kind of results. At least not to start with but over time this is possible. Remember you got to take baby steps.

Analyze everything study other sites copy. Understand how the tick, how they generate there money. I been doing this for years I can’t look at a site anymore without figuring out how it is making it money. Remember that making money online takes time, be patent plan and execute. Set Realistic goals and drive to hit them.

When I got serious about finally starting my 1st monetary goal was to just get a sale and I gave myself 60 days to do that and I did. On day 45 after spending at least 15 minutes a day and sometimes a couple hours I had a 50 dollar affiliate sale. About 2 weeks later I got another 110 dollar one. I was about to give up, I started to get side tracked and lose my focus but I didn’t. Then once that 1st sale check came I realized that is was all worth it and started to see the potential of what can happen. I only had unique 14 hits and I got a sale. 

 
One last Bit of Advice to those starting out.  Before you buy any program that promises great riches remember that these programs have sales copy that is written to sell.  Read others peoples reviews that you trust of products that they have tried and recommend.  I have a product review section on my site and I promise you that I will give you a honest review of anything I put on here.  You will find many others that do the same.  This is a great way to promote products that you how tried and would recommend to others.  If you do spend money on a program stick with it.  Follow it and document what works, also track what doesn’t so you can learn from it. Different programs work for different people but you should be able to learn from any program don’t just keep going and buy another program.  Buying more programs will not make you more money.
