My 8 Year Old Daughter Wants to Blog
How cool is this. I guess my daughter has taken some interest in what I been up too. She has now challenged me. She thinks she can build a better site then me. Pretty cool so I figure her and I could spend some quality time learning how to be a blogger together. 
She has a vision and everything. She is going to do a weekly post about a different animals every week. She allready has some stuff from her school projects so this seem like a good topic for her and she loves animals.
I just setup her up with a place to post all about animals.

Katelyn enjoys swimming, riding her bike and talking about animals. She also enjoys making how to mini-video’s. Her goal right now is to get 20 visitors to her page.
Please help her out with a little click love. For my little girl. Better yet wish her luck with a comment.
My Goal is to teach her how to be a better writer and learn how to produce media for the web and do more with a computer. She is smart so she gets it.
Who knows maybe we can even figure out a creative way to pay for her own college education. Now there is a thought! Time for a book.

That is pretty cool. It is always nice when your kids have an interest in what you are doing. I wouldn’t be where I am if I didn’t pick up what my dad was doing on the computer. He was big into computers and it was a natural progression for me to get into computers / IT. Thanks Greg Ellison

Man, that is cool. I have two kids, nowhere near as young as yours, a 21 year old and a 17 year old and I’ve been trying to get them interested in blogging for ages. Nope, not even after I’ve shown them there is money to be made. They rather waste there time on useless MSN and Facebook chatter.
Oh well, I suppose that’s where the old saying ‘you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink’ comes in.
