Internet Marketers Target Black Friday
If you tried to do any googling for black Friday ads over the last week like I did it was no surprise I found a lot of blogs and websites that were just talking and setup to take 
advantage of the keywords around this madness. I did some quit keyword research and you can really take advantage of this the only think is these keywords will only be popular for a couple weeks in November.
I found a lot of bad links an stuff that didn’t really give me what I need but I would like to share this site as it pretty much has all your major stores covered for those that are interesting in seeing what is out their.
On the right hand side you will see a bunch of stores listed like Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Target Home Depot and many many more. The domain has been around since 2006 but the do a nice job off pulling in all the info and off course within the site they do some Amazon affiliate links to some great deals and then a bunch of adsense.
Anyone else going shopping on Friday. I done it before I might head to Wal-Mart and pick up itouch for my wife. They got the best deal I have seen normal price but $50 itunes card with it. I am not much for the crowds but you can really save some money on some large items if that what your after. Since I am an early bird it doesn’t bother me to get up so I will probably take advantage of this but I in and out not shopping all day that’s for the crazy people.

Some retailers make most of their money during the holiday period. The busiest shopping day of the year is the Friday after Thanksgiving. It is the start of retailers going from being “in the red” (making little or losing money) to being “in the black” (making money or becoming profitable). Think of it like a calculator that displays negative numbers in red and positive numbers in black.

I am a last minute shopper myself, but my wife does most of the shopping so she will be out there with the crowds. For me, the crowds at the mall is the one thing I do not like at the holidays.

Basicly here stores open early and offer some really good door busters offers to attract buyers. You can find big ticket items with nice discounts. I am not one for shopping either I did go out and bought myself a shopvac for $29 dollars $50 dollars off. I then tried to make it in to walmat around 6:30am but they still had a line off about 500 people. Their were only letting so many in the store at a time I figured it would have cleared out by then but no luck.
My advice to black friday shoppers is to stick to the men stores like Lowes and Home Depot. I got their about 10 minutes before 6:00am and they had about 100 people in line no pushing everyone walked in and I was out the door by 6:05 with what I came for. I could have purchased anything they had listed they had enought stock to cover the 1st hour of the sale I would say maybe more.

Hey Jared, I like that “stick to the men stores”. There are definitely some interesting things happening in this economic climate. I was out and about on black friday and one of the big malls near me has opened a second hand clothing store right in the mall. Bargains galore. Do you find Twitter helps you with your blog traffic? Doesn’t sound like a very positive thing, does it – “Black Friday”? But it certainly is for anyone in the retail industry.
Sound advice from Jared… But I still don’t know if this is something I want to brave. There are definitely bargains to be found, but from now onwards I’d rather steer well clear of the malls!
Is there a similar phenomenon in online shopping?

The media has dubbed the Monday following Thanksgiving as Cyber Monday which is supposed to be the equivalent of Black Friday for online retailers. I guess the theory is that what sales they missed, or out of stock issues they faced, the customer turns to the internet to find them.
