Helping Others Important Part To Your Success
Is helping others part of your business model if not is needs to be. Helping others will play a key roll in your business whether you know it our not. If you don’t believe me listen to Zig Ziglar this is one of the quotes you will here and see over and over again all over the Internet.
Zig Ziglar: “You will get everything in life that you want if you just help enough other people get what they want.”
I had the pleasure of seeing Zig Ziglar this past summer at a get motivated event in my local area. Might be one of the last times this legend speaks as he was only able speak for a few minutes and most of his part of the show was video high lights of him from over the years but he talked about how important this is and if you think about it it really makes sense. If you help other people they others are more likely to help you.
If you take a look at some other of the successful people you will find that this is a very common trait. For example you might have heard of Oprah Winfrey. Now I don’t watch Oprah but she is know for helping others and lets just say she is successful very successful.
A couple quick reason why you should help others.
- Karma -who goes around comes around
- People notice when people help others and are more you in return
One last story about someone who I think is very helpful and that is why he is getting so much support and respect is about Brian of Blog Engage. One of the reasons I started doing and running the weekly word challenge on Blog Engage was because Brian was very helpful to me when I 1st joined BlogEnage. He would tweet, comment, post about me for no reason. This got my attention and in return I started to support Blog Engage and seomkt more and more and over the last 6 months we have formed a nice little relationship and really that what this is all about. If Brian didn’t go out of his way to help me I might not have noticed. Now he has a new friend and a regular support and promoter for any of his ventures.

Hi Jared, we all need to mark this in our head for good. Whether it's for the sake of karma or not, to have a good spirit in helping others shall always be a practice for all bloggers. As long as this spirit continues just imagine how it will affect our real life and people around us as well. It's something to work on definitely, appreciate you nudging us about the importance of doing so. I agree, Brian has indeed made this community a great place to be. Continue this effort and let's make a difference by participating in it.

Whether in blogging or in real life it's always good to help others when you see that they are in need. In real life it gives you a warm fuzzy feeling inside, but in the online world people remember you for your help and you never know what that may lead to.
I really don't take helping others as something I include in my business plan, I do it because I enjoy helping where I can.
John, that the right way to do it because you like to and enjoy it. The point here is if your not doing it maybe you should think about it more and added it to your plan you should find it rewarding and if you do help enough others then the good things will come. Like Sire said you never know what it might lead to. I am a big believer in Karma. What goes around comes around many times even bigger back at you.

I'm glad you mentioned Oprah because she and Bill & Melinda Gates are the millionaires that come to mind (or is that billionaires) when I think – who is really giving back and sharing the wealth. It's truly a gift to be so compassionate.
Brian has helped everyone of us at Blog Engage by the opening doors and providing a way to meet and befriend one another. I always do what I can to help him because he is such a great guy.
I like to help bloggers whenever I can that's why I tell everyone I meet about joining Blog Engage.
